"The Toups Clan and how it all began" is the name of a book written by Neil J. Toups in 1969. It is a very detailed book about the history of the Toups family, the family name, where our ancestors came from, and a family tree current as of 1969. The book is out of print, but you may be able to find a copy at a library if you look in south Louisiana.

I have finally made contact with the family of the author and found out that they are contemplating an update to the book!
